WBJEE, that is, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is a centralized test controlled by the State Government and conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. The said Board was established in the year 1962 by the Government of West Bengal with the aim of selecting candidates for admission to undergraduate and post-graduate Professional, Vocational, and General Degree Courses in the state. The main purpose of the exam is to allow deserving candidates admission to the undergraduate Engineering colleges of West Bengal. The exam is an annual one. Besides, this exam also offers admission to Medical and Dental colleges of Bengal as well as at the central level. Candidates may also enroll in Architecture and Pharmacy programs at various colleges and universities of Bengal. WBJEE syllabus focuses on the details of the three main subjects, that is, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

 

All the questions in the WBJEE are in MCQ pattern, there will be at least four options against each question, and the questions will be divided into three categories. The duration is three hours for each paper. There is no upper age limit regarding the number of attempts a candidate can make to crack WBJEE.
