IIT Delhi’s researchers have made an attempt to develop a nano-vaccine using the body’s immune cells with success. The said vaccine has the ability to minimize the probability of blood clotting. Therefore, this has proved to be remarkable progress by IIT Delhi in the domain of the next-generation COVID-19 vaccine. Besides, it may have a range of advantages over the other currently approved vaccines. Prof. Jayanta Bhattacharyya (Centre for Biomedical Engineering, IIT Delhi) has mentioned that the innovative approach to vaccination which has been observed in the case of the said vaccine, can be employed for many other infectious diseases, like Dengue.
