The “Inter-IIT Cultural Meet 5.0” is being hosted by IIT Madras and will be held from 9th-11th January 2023 on the campus. The participants include more than 3,200 students from all 23 IITs across the country.

The cultural meet is going to feature a host of events in the following categories: Literary Arts, Speaking and Comedic Arts, Theatre Arts, Dance Arts, Musical Arts, Film-Making Arts, Fine Arts, Digital Arts, and Lifestyle Arts. This year is going to witness the introduction of 2 new events: E-Sports and Culinary Events.

The cultural meet has been inaugurated on 9th January 2023 by the Chief Guest, L Subramaniam, a Padma Bhushan awardee and an eminent violinist, composer, and conductor.
